Great trip with Travis

We had a great tour with Travis. He was easy to chat with and very informative. It was like getting a tour from a family friend. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.

Amazing

This whole trip was excellent, Lisa took really good care of us, felt safe the whole time and she made sure we got pattys even tho all but one place was closed, even after snorkeling when we were at margaritaville it started storming and she came and got us because she already knew it wasn't storming at Ricks would definitely recommend

Phenomenal service

My drive Lisa was amazing. She was very thorough and did such a great job with providing excellent service over all.We made a few stops for to take pictures , and she started us to some juicy patty and stopped on the side of the road to purchase fresh coconut water. Highly highly recommend her services.

Travis is the Best!!

We had an amazing time with Travis as our personal guide. He was extremely informative about Montego Bay and Negril area. His love for his beautiful country was felt as he shared his culture and expertise. We love Jamaica and can’t wait to share our amazing experience with family and friends. So much and the service was great.

Lisa was my driver on the tour. She was so knowledgable relating history along the way and pointing out sites of interest. We stopped for Juici Pies which was an experience in itself. The glass bottom boat ride and snorkeling was perfect. Lisa made sure and took pictures for me the entire trip. The island we went to was so much fun. The Jamaicans set up a make shift restaurant and cook fresh lobster and crab. The lobster was amazing. It was only $40. I would highly recommend this excursion. When it started raining, Lisa made sure and drove the van to pick me up where we had stopped for beach time at Margaritaville. It’s all day, but worth the time.

Best day in Negril!

Absolute best day in Negril with Travis! Our family of 4 which included two teenage girls spent the most memorable day with Travis learning, seeing and experiencing so much. We stopped at a fruit stand and enjoyed sugar cane, enjoyed the glass bottom boat ride on the turquoise blue water with Captain Andy to our snorkeling spot and found underwater treasures. Enjoyed seven mile beach and Margaritaville and then headed to Rick’s Cafe. Rick’s Cafe did not disappoint. We all jumped and enjoyed the entertainment. An amazing day we will never forget. 10/10 We would do it again and look forward to our next visit! Thank you Travis!

Great day on the water

Our group of 10 had a wonderful day! Guides were friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The glass bottom boat and snorkeling was a great adventure. The fresh lobster lunch was delectable. We weren’t very impressed with Rick’s Cafe, but overall had a great day!

A perfect mix of local and touristy

A perfect mix of a local and touristy experience. Trav was an excellent guide, fully open and honest about any questions we had. He helped us learn more about Jamaican culture, traditions, and even taught us some Patois. It felt like we knew Trav our whole lives. This experience is definitely worth it because the tour was fully customizable!! We mentioned that we wanted to try some local fruit and Trav was cool enough to stop at a local fruit stand along the way. The private tour includes a drive to negril beach, where you snorkel for 45 minutes. You see many reefs and small fish. The boat captain offered to take us to an island for some lobster or fish (we chose not to and I don’t recommend you do this as the prices are hiked up). We asked Trav to stop at his favorite local restaurant and had some good shrimp curry and oxtail. We then made our way to Ricks Cafe. We didn’t fully enjoy the hectic vibe of Ricks and none of us wanted to cliff dive, but Trav was there on standby for when we wanted to leave. Jammed to some tunes on the way back to hotel and stopped for some souvenirs. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!

Amazing experience!!

Travis was an amazing driver. He told us all about the culture and showed us around. Captain Andy was fun on the boat, got to see so many things while snorkeling. Rick’s cafe was also a super cool experience. Shoutout to Travis!

Fun day in Negril exploring

We thoroughly enjoyed our day visiting Negril with Travis! He is so knowledgeable and gives you lots of history and even some Jamaican language lessons! We felt like we had a real Jamaican experience! Roadside fruit was awesome and even found a hummingbird sanctuary! Safe and relaxed! Highly recommend!

The best thing about our experience was the tour leader, Lisa! She was absolutely the best!! She really seemed to enjoy her job and was extremely professional yet down to earth. You could hear the love she has for her country in everything she talked about. We enjoyed all aspects of the tour but wished the snorkeling could have been longer. Our boat crew were patient and helpful in teaching my family how to snorkel. The lobster was also banging! We would definitely recommend this experience!

A great way to experience Jamaica!

Travis was an excellent tour guide! He picked us up early at our hotel which was great so we weren’t left waiting as we have been for other tours. He took us to some spots along the way for fruit and Jamaican patties, as well as to see a working water wheel at the golf course (which once was a sugar cane plantation). He left us at the 7 mile beach with Andy for a glass bottom boat ride with snorkelling which was a lot of fun & enjoyable as we had a lot more time than we’ve been given with similar tours. After we met back up with Travis, he took us to Rick’s cafe for cliff jumping & to watch the sunset. It was busy there, but a lot of fun! He took us back to our hotel & during the drive, shared information with us about Jamaican history/ culture while we chatted about Canada. It was one of the best excursions I’ve been on in all my travels. We even shared a love for country music which was so cool! 12/10 highly recommend touring with Trav Sun Tours. One love! 🥰

Wonderful day wonderful guide!

We had the most wonderful day! Travis was an outstanding guide, very knowledgeable, friendly and flexible. Andy was a great snorkeling guide, saw so many colorful fish. We had so much fun jumping at Rick’s Cafe, even my 12 year old. The day went longer than anticipated but Travis was very accommodating and it was such a marvelous day taking in the beauty of Jamaica. Fun in Negril

This excursion was booked for my birthday. Travis, our tour guide, was knowledgeable about this history of the island and you can tell her loves the island. It made the experience so much better to learn from him. We went from Montego Bay to Negril where Captain Andy took us out on his glass bottom boat. While we snorkeled he called ahead to order the food on the island for us. Which was delicious. We had time after to enjoy 7 mile beach before going to Rick's Cafe. Overall I couldn't think of a better way to spend the day.

Can’t wait to come back!

My sister and I had the best tour with Travis! We had a wonderful time and learned so much from him exploring the surrounding areas between Montego Bay and Negril. He gave fantastic insight into Jamaica’s culture, history, and people and an amazing storyteller. Travis was super flexible with the changes in itinerary we wanted and still managed to show us so much more than we expected. The tour is well worth the price and I would recommend Travis Tours to anyone visiting Jamaica.

A Must Do Experience

Travis was amazing showing us around Jamaica, Captain Andy did a fantastic job and spotted a turtle for us to see! Loves the super friendly people on Booby Cay Island and the lobster was sooooo good. Loved walking along 7 mile beach and Rick's was the best end to the trip!

Five stars doesn’t feel like enough! Hands down, this is the BEST all day tour of Negril out there.

I highly recommend this full day tour with Travis to Negril. Travis was AMAZING from pickup to drop off back out our resort in Montego Bay. He shared history of Jamaica, answered my millions of questions, stopped anywhere we asked and made a couple suggestions along the way. We never felt pressured to stop anywhere but appreciated the recommendations. We stopped for Juici Patties (MUST TRY), fresh cut sugar cane, Jamaican beer, photos at the Negril sign and the Tryall water wheel. When we arrived in the 7 mile beach area, we spent a little time at Margaritaville before meeting up with the wonderful Captain Andy. The glass bottom boat and snorkeling were a blast! We also had fun finding seashells while on the island and petting the island cat “Simba”. I had my 9 year old daughter with me and I feel that both Travis and Andy went above and beyond to make sure she felt included and enjoyed the tour as much as the adults. Travis arrived on time, got out at every stop with us, was prompt and responsive when we were ready to leave 7 mile beach and head to Ricks cafe. Book with Travis, you will not regret it! Thank you Travis and Captain Andy, all of the sites and stops were great, but you’re both what made this a 5 star experience.

Amazing experience

We are so glad we chose this private tour with Travis. After reading so many positive reviews we were not disappointed. On our way to Negril, we stopped roadside to get the best beef patties we’ve ever had and a fresh coconut! We had great communication with Travis the whole day and he accommodated all our needs. Great Tour all around - DO IT

Great tour guide by Travis. Very genuine guy and we had our best tour so far in Jamaica. He shared a lot of history with us and taught us a tremendous amount of knowledge that we didn’t get from other tours. Also, it is a private transport and excursions so it is a lot better and less crowded vs some of the other bigger tours. The boat ride to snorkeling was amazing and we had just the right amount of time to spend in the beach.

10/10 Highly Recommend - Safe and Secure

Our driver, Jovani, was excellent! He took great pictures of us and made sure we were safe, happy, and comfortable. We were dropped off at Margaritaville on seven mile beach while waiting for the boat to go snorkeling. Jovani met up with us and took us to our boat. We also stopped out on Ruby Island after snorkeling which was so cool being on an island in the middle of the ocean. Jovani met us ashore and we spent an hour basking in the sun at margaritaville before heading to Rick’s Cafe, where you can go cliff jumping and have the best lobster of your life. 10/10!

Awesome time!

This was by far our favorite experience on the island from the transportation to the beachside hang out! Snorkeling was awesome water was so clear, many more adventures to do while you hang at margaritaville for free time so bring extra cash! Ricks cafe was such a vibe, the cliff jumping was awesome with lots of life guards so the kids were able to jump and enjoy it as well, our kids are 10 and 12. Would definitely recommend this trip!

Great experience

Our guide Travis was a great guy. He is so knowledgeable about Jamaica from history to culture and also local foods. He answered to all of my questions and we learned a lot from him. During our way to Negril, he stopped at a fruit stand and we tried some local fruits. My son tried sugar cane for the first time and he liked it very much. It’s nice to experience local things when traveling other places. Travis is also very thoughtful that when I told him I got motion sickness after snorkeling, he told me fresh coconut water is good for recovery and got me one at Margaritaville immediately. Thank goodness, I got better soon and was able to enjoy the 7 miles beach for the rest of the day. His hospitality is exceptional. We really had a great day with him and had him as a driver to downtown for the next day as well and got a good deal souvenirs from the local shops.

Fun way to spend the day!

My husband and I, along with our 3 kids 17,13,7, wanted to leave the resort for the day. We were staying at Hilton Rose Hall in Montego Bay. The idea of taking a public excursion crammed on a bus wasn’t appealing so we went this route. It was perfect! It started with our driver Lisa picking us up at our resort at 9:30am (the time we requested). It’s at least a 2 hour drive to Negril but we learned a lot along the way. Our kids had their eyes opened to a new culture. In Lucea, Lisa took us to try Juici Patties, a Jamaican must. The area was bustling with activity and Lisa made sure our experience was safe and comfortable- Juici Patties are delicious. Then we made our way to Margaritaville in Negril. Lisa escorted us to meet up with Capt. Andy and the glass bottom boat. Capt. Andy was a fun and welcoming guy. He took us out to the reef that was just a short distance- maybe 15 minutes out (perfect for us!) equipped all of us with our snorkel gear, fed some fish so they came right up by us, and we jumped in! We saw so many fish (We are from Iowa so we were impressed :)). When we were done, we loaded back up and went to a private island. Capt. Andy had already called in our order. We requested 1 lobster to share (we weren’t sure if our kids would like it) for $40. It was so good- and all of our kids loved it. The cooking set up is very primative- black tarps for shade, home made grill, plywood seating- it was an experience but so glad we decided to partake. We spent two hours with Capt. Andy snorkeling and on the island before returning. When we returned, Lisa met us and we enjoyed Negril’s 7 mile beach for about an hour or so. Lisa made sure we had chairs and were settled. When were ready, we texted her and she met us to head to Ricks Cafe which is just up the road a little farther. This place was fun! Workers jumped from a very high platform. There are other very high and not so high cliff jump options for everyone. Our 17 year old jumped off the high cliffs and our 13 and 7 year olds jumped off some lower options. This venue was a fun way to end the day. It is a great place to enjoy the sunset (although we left a little earlier than sunset to get back to Montego Bay timely). On the drive back we had great fun conversations with Lisa learning about Jamaica. We also stopped for some sugar cane for the kids to try from a produce stand in Lucea. We felt safe and comfortable with Lisa and had a great time on this excursion!

Make sure you get Travis

Your only regret will be not meeting Travis sooner. We had a beautiful day. He took us basically wherever, was knowledgeable, and thoughtful. I'm so happy we had this day because the weather has been crazy. Andy was an awesome captain and will make you feel super comfortable.

Best Experience Ever!!!

Amazing day with Travis. I can not say enough nice things about this excursion and Travis himself. Such a nice kid and leaves you with the feeling of acceptance and belonging on this paradise island. Safe transport to Negril with memorable photo ops on the way not to mention authentic beef patties! Amazing snorkeling once reaching Negril, beach time and drinks at Margaritaville, lobster on an island with some cold Redstripe and the grand finale at Rick's Cafe. Awesome day trip, great value’

Travis customized our experience and allowed us to explore the Westside of the island. We learned a lot and enjoyed the personalized experience without being in a big group. Glass bottom snorkeling excursion and island lobster made us feel like a local. Sunset at Rick’s watching cliff jumping was a perfect end to the day. Highly recommend and will use Travis again on our next trip and try a new adventure excursion with him.

Hospitable and personalized

We had such a great time! Our guide, Travis, taught us a lot about the history and culture of Jamaica. Since it was a private tour, we made stops at fruit stands at our request and he offered to stop wherever we wanted. Everything was on our own time- whenever we wanted to leave the beach etc. we just let him know and we moved on to the next activity. Very hospitable and friendly, would definitely recommend booking with them!

Amazing Experience

Where to begin.. Travis made our trip to Jamaica unforgettable. We were a group of 8 (7 of us in our 20s and a 13 yr old). He made sure to inform us that the time is ours and to let him know if we want to stop for pics or eat something. He introduced us to Red stripe sorrel (P.S. must try) and when he heard us talking about sugar canes, he stopped and got us some! He gave information about Jamaica as we drive from Montego Bay to Negril and made sure we're comfortable. I wish we booked him early on our trip because we would have booked another tour because what he offers is truly one of a kind. Travis, we will be back and we'll make sure to send everyone we know going to Jamaica to you because you truly made our trip special.

Travis made the difference!!

The tour was awesome! We had a deep dive in the culture of Jamaica and it’s beautiful beaches and dance. All of this was possible thanks to the great driver and guide we had: Travis!! He was punctual and very attentive with us, open to share insights on the local culture (music, food, places, habits etc) and a great pleasant company for the whole time. The tour itself it is worth the price, since it is private. Personal pick up and drive to Negril. Stops along the trip to sightseeing and then a private glass bottom boat for snorkeling. The coral reef is in a good status and the lunch on the small island in front of the 7 miles beach is a plus. Not to mention the sunset at the tourist but very nice Rick’s cafe. Definitely recommended!!

When can we return?!

Trav Sun Tours was amazing. We had an awesome tour of Montego Bay and Negril, especially Negril. We started our trip on time in a comfortable and clean van. Trav was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun - great vibes all day and very accommodating. He knew the best spots to pick up some sorrel, patties, and have a delicious authentic Jamaican dinner. We had a great boat ride and a beautiful snorkeling adventure. The boat driver was also funny and warm. So happy we decided to get the lobster lunch, we spilt a big one and it was soooooo good. We picked it out, the chef was thorough. What they do with some butter, bread, tomato and onion is otherworldly! Might have to recreate that at home. Good vibes where lunch took place, met some locals. Next we returned to Margaritaville and enjoyed the beach for about two hours. Dried off and then headed to Rick’s Cafe for cliff jumps and the sunset. Only one of us jumped and it wasn’t the big jump; the water was rougher than usual our day. Didn’t stop other folks though. Missed the sunset because it was cloudy that day but watching folks jump off the cliff and the bar entertainment made for a fun close to a great day. The ride back to Mobay was easy as Trav is easy to talk to and shared a lot about the history of the island. We had a very customized experience due to the fact that other patrons had to cancel but I know Trav would’ve held it down regardless. We can’t wait to return!

Best excursion ever!!!

This was the best excursion I’ve ever been on! We were picked up by our wonderful tour guide, Travis & he gave us so much history on Jamaica during our private van ride to Negril! The snorkeling was amazing we saw fish, starfish, and even a sea turtle! 10/10 definitely recommend!!!

Best tour guide company in Jamaica

Travis from Trav Sun touring was an excellent guide. He is very knowledgeable of the area and the rich history of Jamaica. We told him we wanted to experience more of the country after being stuck at the resort for a couple days. On our way to Negril we stopped at a local fruit shop on the road where Travis picked out a few local fruits that he wanted us to try. We also stopped at his favorite beef patty shop and we all agreed that the beef and cheese patty was the best that we have ever had. We then stopped at Fort Charlotte to view the cannons used during the war. When we arrived to Negril we met up with Andy who was the captain of the glass bottom boat where he took us snorkeling at a beautiful reef where we saw all types of tropical fish. We then went to an island where we ate freshly caught lobsters. Make sure you bring cash with you to pay for the food and for tips. There are also shops along the beach in Negril. We then drove to Ricks cafe where we enjoyed cliff jumping and the sun set. Travis focuses on making sure you have the best time with him and will customize your trip to fit your liking. He also has a lot of other tours that he offers and we wish we had more time to try some of the others. When we come back we will contact Travis again to explore more of the country. This tour is great for couples, friends, and family.

Amazing day!

Travis was absolutely amazing. He is the sweetest person! We used his services twice. Once I was with my dad, and one I was alone. I solo travel, so I try to read people and felt completely safe in his care! He is so much fun. We had an amazing day and Travis was up for anything.My dad is really into photography and he helped find places for him. The snorkel tour was great, and the lobster was fantastic. Highly recommend! The sunset was fantastic at Ricks. Overall we had a great time. Travis drove very safe and everything was perfect. Highly recommend! Make sure to tip!

Best day in Jamaica!

This experience was our best day on Jamaica! Jason was our driver, hands down, best driver on the island! He made sure we got everything we wanted out of the day; snorkeling, fresh fruit, authentic food, ice cream! It is tailored to your wants. Be prepared to be out all day, but you will be in good hands!

Best time ever!

I traveled with family and friends. We were a group of 5. Every single person had the absolute best time on this excursion. Our day trip to Negril with Travis was the best day of our whole vacation. Travis picked us up from our hotel in a clean, air-conditioned van that gave our group of 5 plenty of space. As we drove from Montego Bay to Negril, Travis captivated our group by sharing Jamaicas rich history. We made three stops while traveling to Negril. Our stops were a fruit stand with amazing produce, a photo op at the Negril sign, and a quick supermarket stop to try one of Jamaicas' best beers! The stops were at our request.Travis never pressured or coerced us to spend additional money. Travis reassured us this private tour was centered around our enjoyment, and we could tweak it to our liking. Once arriving at Margaritaville in Negril, we joined Captain Andy on the beach and had a blast snorkeling and enjoying the best grilled lobster we've ever had. Afterward, we hung around Margaritaville's private beach. The beach was so lush and beautiful. We didn't want to leave! Next, we were off to Rick's Cafe. The food and vibe were on point. One of the highlights of the night was when Travis went above and beyond for my then boyfriend and helped him orchestrate my proposal in front of all at Rick's Cafe on a cliff during sunset!!! Throughout the entire day trip, Travis was attentive, personable, funny, and provided us with a sense of security. He listened to our requests and made them happen. Travis customer service was superb from booking well into the day after our excursion. A member of our group left something in Travis's car the night before, and Travis dropped it off to her (within 15 minutes of her notifying him) before going to pick up other clients. Great day!

We had such a great day! Travis picked us up and drive us to Negril. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, talkative and took us to some local places. We loved the fruit stand and the jerk chicken on the side of the road. The snorkeling was great. Lobster lunch delicious….however this isn’t included in price. We enjoyed jumping off the cliffs at ricks cafe and then headed back. We would recommend this to anyone. And definitely Travis as a driver and tour guide!

Amazing

Lisa was amazing and did everything we wanted. Took us to make special stops and find the things we wanted. Took us to stops along the way that were not part of the tour but had great history to know. Captain Andy was also amazing finding my husband a Cohnc shell to dive down and retrieve for the kids. Let him drive the boat while he cleaned the shell. Was an amazing time with many memories made!! Once again, Lisa is amazing and would recommend her to anyone thinking of booking this outing.

Amazing experience

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour and our trip to Jamaica, but especially because of our tour guide Travis. He was exceptional! Very cool, down to earth guy that taught us about Jamaican culture, made pit stops for local fruits and beef patties, and made it a very comfortable experience. Negril beach is absolutely beautiful and the boat operator Andy takes you out for a fun snorkeling experience. My husband saw so many fishes! Boobycay Island was fun, the lobster was really fresh! The great thing was that the tour was all about what my husband and I wanted to do and we skipped the cliff jumping and instead Travis took us to where we wanted to go instead. He even helped us out with our early airport transportation the next day. The next time I’m in Jamaica I would only use Travis!

Relaxing and cool experience

Captain Andy was great and our driver Trav was the most helpful. It was a really nice time! The drive wa a almost 2 hours and was a scenic route. We arrived at the boat on Negril beach, bruised in the water and I costed an island, Thai was the best part

Lovely trip

Travis picked us up on time then drove us to Negril all while telling us about Jamaica on the way along with stopping at a local shop so we could get some beef Pattie’s that we’re so good. The snorkeling was fun then you can pick hand picked lobsters straight out the ocean jt you want. Then Ricks Cafe was perfect to top it off. Entire day was 10/10 just be prepared for the drive to Negril from Montego Bay is about 2 hours but it’s private transportation and Travis makes the time greatly enjoyable.
